In this blog we want to show you how our products and techniques can help you prevent hair loss, promote hair growth, and maintain long, healthy and shiny hair.
At Soo Peachy we personally use the following products and techniques.
Must Haves:
Using a Scalp Massager on a daily basis promotes the flow of blood to the scalp which wakes up the hair roots, using circular massage motions helps with safely promoting hair growth. We recommend moving your head down, letting your hair flow down and massaging your scalp upside down. During the scalp massages you can use a hair growth oil, our personal favourite is rosemary oil, or castor oil.
When brushing your hair, we recommend using the Soo Peachy Bamboo Hair Brush to protect your hair against tears and breakage. Using the soft tips of the bamboo hair brush can stimulate hair growth especially if used before the Scalp Massager.
When drying your hair, do not use harsh towels, and do not rub your towel against your hair, instead, plop your hair into a Microfibre Hair Towel or into a cotton shirt, this method will prevent frizz and breakage.
Finally, we suggest using rosemary water or rice water to wash into the hair to help with hair growth and soft and shiny hair.
Bring 100ml of water to the boil. Add 3 fresh rosemary sprigs and simmer for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, turn off the heat and let sit for at least an hour (leaving the rosemary sprigs in the water) Strain and transfer to a clean spray bottle or a jar.
Pour ½ cup of uncooked rice into a strainer. Rinse well. Place rice in a bowl with 2 cups of water. Soak for up to 24 hours at room temperature. Strain the rice water into a clean bowl. Funnel rice into a spray bottle and refrigerate until you're ready to use.
